One of our broadcasting clients is looking for a Part-Time Full Stack (Back-End) Developer (API, React, NestJS, French)
Length: 6-month contract with possibility of extension
Location: Quebec (Remote – Montreal Time)
Number of Working Days: 2-3 days/week
Business Unit: Digital Media Team
Start Date: 24th October 2022

ROLE MANDATE:
Working with other Project Management professionals in the Integration Management Office (IMO) and IT Project Managers, the Integration Project Manager is responsible for managing and delivering the overall integration project plan and its deliverables for BIA group. This includes responsibility for planning and executing project activities and managing resources to ensure the established scope, budget, time and quality goals are met.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):

• Design and/or modify the presentation APIs
• Design and/or modify CMS components
• Design and/or modify data models
• Ensure compliance with standards and control the quality of the product throughout the realization of the project
• Keep abreast of new trends in the different areas of digital development
• By being proactive, propose solutions to the challenges encountered
• Participate in Agile Scrum activities to take stock of projects in production in order to make the necessary corrections and adjustments or completed projects in order to measure the results

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• College or university degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Mastery of server-side scripts – api/graphql – client/server
• Mastery of React/Redux/RTK
• Mastery of NestJS
• Mastery of Apollo Server/Client
• Mastery of MongoDB
• Mastery of TypeScript
• Mastery of GraphQL
• Experience with React Admin
• Experience with NextJS
• Experience with Styled-Components
• Experience with an Agile (Scrum) methodology
• Experience with Git
• Back-end performance optimization, an asset
• Knowledge of object-oriented and design pattern, an asset
• Strong interest in major web trends and issues
• Rigor, autonomy, and resourcefulness
• Analytical and conceptualizing skills
• Ability to work in a team, excellent communicator
• Fluency in French and functional knowledge of written and spoken English is an asset
