Note: This position is located at the St. Thomas/Elgin Regional Campus, 120 Bill Martyn Parkway, St. Thomas, Ontario.

Note: This is a part-time temporary Faculty position that will run from January 3, 2024 to April 2024.

The St Thomas/Elgin Regional Campus is seeking a qualified Part-time temporary Faculty for the Winter semester in the following subject area:

  • Construction Project Management – Essentials of Construction

Qualifications

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • A combination of excellent leadership and teaching skills with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success
  • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners
  • Superior computer skills and a familiarity with educational technologies are required
  • Experience with hybrid and online teaching preferred
  • Related industry work experience, previous college teaching experience and student evaluations are assets

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum post-secondary 3-year BA in related subject and/or Certificate of Qualification in related trade
  • Background in Engineering, Architecture or actively working in the Construction Industry with a focus on: Project Cost Control and Accounting, Human Resources, Project Management
  • Minimum 3 years’ recent and relevant experience
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements
  • Strong computer skills and a familiarity with educational technologies are required
