What responsibilities will you have in this role?
- Supports the ongoing development of the CRM (Customer Relationship Manager) platform.
- Works closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify develop and deploy new business processes.
- Adapts existing software to meet the changing needs of business objectives in alignment with George Brown’s Strategy 2022 and Vision 2030.
- Liaises with ITS for smooth operation of systems and system improvement/upgrades.
- Performs data integrity responsible for ensuring that the database is always available as needed.
- Develops and maintains data standards and procedures documentation for all aspects of the database, including, but not limited to, data entry instructions and user security levels.
- Responsible for the data integrations between systems as required. Examples include the integration of strategic digital engagement tools with the data within the CRM.
- Provides technical expertise to business projects and creates solutions to meeting identified challenges.
- Safeguards the confidentiality of data and ensures that the use and storage of data complies with Privacy legislation and College policies.
- Supports the declarative programming requirements of relevant aspects of the database, including, but not limited to, engagement tracking programming.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to effectively support data analytics as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
What qualifications do you need for this role?
- Four year degree or equivalent from a recognized post-secondary institution in Information Technology or Computer Science.
- Minimum five-year experience with Advanced knowledge of and experience working with customer relationship management software, preferably Salesforce CRM.
- Advanced knowledge of database programming, including SQL language requirements.
- Detailed knowledge and ability to use reporting tools, query applications, and measures and metrics.
- Exceptional project management, time management and organizational skills, with the ability to establish priorities and work to deadlines. Detail oriented.
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Demonstrated initiative to explore and implement more efficient systems and measures.
- Ability to predict and document the needs of the end user.
- Excellent written verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Diplomacy and tact in teaching/coaching colleagues on database use, and supervising student employees.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative; solution-focused approach to addressing challenges; dynamic, positive, enthusiastic, and creative; excellent team skills.
- Demonstrated commitment in delivering excellent service to others as this is key in supporting the success of our students and our College.
- Effective ability to interact with others and deal with situations in ways that respect diverse backgrounds, experience, and styles.
- Flexibility in adapting to change and in participating in consultative decision-making processes.
