Position Summary:
To help continue to fuel our growth, we are looking for an effective full lifecycle Product Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team. You will work within a product marketing team, and contribute to helping shape the product marketing strategy, messaging and positioning by deeply understanding the product, industry and customer journey and buyers personas. You will work closely with product, sales, customer success, and marketing teams to drive key outcomes that support revenue growth and push our brand forward.
Our Marketing team consists of positive, talented and determined self-starters who are able to collaborate effectively and thrive in an environment with a high level of autonomy. The team leverages industry knowledge and insights in order to apply the most impactful B2B marketing strategies and tactics that support the company’s mission and business objectives.
This role will report into the Director, Product Marketing. This is a full-time position in our downtown Vancouver HQ, walking distance from shops, restaurants, and public transit. Compensation is based on experience and includes stock options and benefits.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop go-to-market plans, including planning, product positioning, value proposition and messaging, related assets and sales enablement.
- Leverage data and insights to generate balanced and thoughtful perspectives on customers, products and our markets
- Be the voice of the customer, understand and map their journey, engage with our front lines, mine data, listen to Gong and talk to as many customers as possible to understand their landscape.
- Work with your marketing peers to develop strategies needed to reach different customer segments through outreach activities.
- Be a great storyteller, one who communicates signal through the noise.
- Lead cross-functional meetings to drive alignment, identify dependencies, and resolve roadblocks with sales, marketing, product, engineering, customer success and legal.
- Help define new packages and narratives to drive growth and engagement.
- Be an excellent communicator when producing impactful marketing assets, sales collateral, and product release messaging and assets
- Ensure the right goals, KPIs and metrics are tracked when measuring our product and market effectiveness.
Skills and Experience:
- Enough years of relevant work experience, including marketing, product marketing, and product management
- Be a multiplier of value – work well to improve outcomes across the value chain
- Experienced across a full lifecycle product marketing strategy and execution
- Proven track record of scaling high impact, multi-channel go-to-market efforts for B2B
- Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task – must be able to juggle multiple projects
- Excellent team player with strong attention to detail and good time management skills.
- Understand your audience and influence with gravitas and crisp communication.
- Strategic, analytical, and data-driven mindset.
- Proficient using a multitude of technology communication tools.
- BA/BS degree from an accredited university.
