Reporting to the Project Controls Manager / Director Project Controls, the Project Controls Coordinator is the first line of support for project teams, and is responsible for answering service desk tickets, completing administrative work on software, completing enhancement testing, writing new training materials, and compiling release notes.

Roles and Responsibilites Include:

  • Act as the first line of support for service desk tickets or calls, and escalate as required.
  • Administer Knowledge Base and Gateway page.
  • Administer Project Controls software.
  • Complete or lead testing on new software.
  • Carry out miscellaneous support as requested.
  • Participate as a team member on large initiatives.
  • Oversee updates to schedules, quantity tracking (updates), and administration of project documentation.
  • Monitor support trends and enhancement requests.
  • Provide support to a project team and carry out reactionary tasks.
  • Compile routine reports and data on a monthly basis.
  • Communicate well at all levels, understanding and properly interpreting questions asked by the business and promptly responding, escalating when necessary and updating the client.
  • Display a desire to help the project team where possible.
  • Provide efficient support and advice.
  • Liaise with technical teams on behalf of operations personnel needing support.

Education, Experience, and Knowledge.

  • Equivalent to completion of a diploma training program at a college or technical school, or a university degree; degree in Construction or Engineering is preferred.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience.
  • Construction experience, as well as experience elsewhere at Graham.
  • Project Controls systems experience is an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to collaborate effectively with others.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Project Controls software, and P6.
  • Proficiency with InEight Project Suite modules is an asset.
