Position Summary

The population that this specific position supports is childbearing and childrearing families in the prenatal/postnatal period. We are seeking an RN who is a team player; experienced in public health maternity care services and is adept at the provision of prenatal/postnatal assessment, referral, support and nursing care specific to this population.

This is a casual position which means hours are not guaranteed and may vary as needed. Hours of work are 08:30- 16:30.

Qualifications
Baccalaureate degree in Nursing from a recognized program, completion of a recognized course in human lactation and breastfeeding and one (1) year recent, related experience in public health maternity care nursing or an equivalent combination of education, training experience.

Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

Current valid BC Driver’s License.
