We’re also looking at what’s next for you and how we can help you build a career you’re proud of. As a Quality Coordinator for our Toronto office in Oakville, Ontario, you will contribute to our team by:

  • Assisting in the development of the Quality Plan and Inspection and Test Plan.
  • Conducting quality activities aligned with project scope as per the contract terms and conditions.
  • Performing visual examination, witnessing, monitoring, or documenting as per project quality and inspection testing plans.
  • Liaising with Owner Representatives, Consultants and or Trade Partners on quality related items.
  • Producing or collecting quality turnover documentation.
  • Acting as a liaison to provide technical assistance as needed.
  • Verifying trade contractor compliance to their quality program and contract documents.
  • Assisting in the planning and documentation of mock-ups.
  • Working with field management to ensure the protection of finished work.
  • Staying current with industry practices and technologies and seeking new and innovative construction methods and processes.

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role:

  • Tradesperson or postsecondary education in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in quality control within the construction industry.
  • Understands specifications, methods, and procedures.
  • Strong construction inspection skills.
  • Demonstrated planning, organizational, and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize own work.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong aptitude for new technologies.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders.
