Salary: $32.50/hour

An Edmonton client is searching for Railcar Loader to join their production team.

Railcar Loader Responsibilities:

• Operate the rack in a controlled, safe, efficient and reliable manner utilizing operating manuals and procedures
• Ensure adequate handover and communication of critical operational information at shift change to the relief loader.
• Use the guide “Effective Shift Handover” to train the operators on requirements
• Communicate with control room personnel and off-site personnel to implement tasks necessary to support continued operation and optimization of plant facilities
• Ensure full documentation of daily activities, events and problems in the appropriate log book
• Complete Loader Assessments (Control, Inlet, Process, Storage and Utilities) at required frequency
• Participate in training activities relating to the proper operation of the rack under normal, upset and emergency situations to ensure the development and maintenance of required Loader capabilities
• Satisfactorily complete the HSSE, regulatory and company-specified training requirements
• Participate in operator refresher training activities and complete applicable Operator Loading Checklist
• Participate in PHA/LOPA MAR/HAZOP activities as required
• Ensure participation/compliance with Control of Work processes (Permit to Work, Lock out/Tag out etc.)

Railcar Loader Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in plant operations (NGL gas experience preferred)
• Must be able to pass Drug and Alcohol screening
• Must have: TGD, H2S Alive, First Aid, Fall Arrest
• Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations
• Able to work with other disciplines (Engineering, Admin, Logistics) and Organizational levels (Ops Team Lead, Onshore Site Manager

• Rotating shift
• $32.50/hour
