Job Description
UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE MANAGER OF NURSING, THE RN WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ASSESSMENT, PLANNING, IMPLEMENTATION AND EVALUATION OF PATIENT CARE IN SURGERY 4B, ENT, PLASTICS & UROLOGY. THE INCUMBENT WILL DEMONSTRATE ACTIVE PARTICIPATION IN MODEL OF CARE THAT INTEGRATES QUALITY IMPROVEMENT PRINCIPLES, LEAN METHODOLOGY, BEST PRACTICE, ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY, AND PATIENT FAMILY CENTERED CARE.
Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to competently use computers and software applications as required by the position

Additional Information
IT WILL BE DESIRABLE IF YOU POSSESS A KNOWLEDGE OF THE PRINCIPLES, METHODS AND TECHNIQUES INVOLVED IN PERFORMING NURSING SERVICES RELATING TO THE CARE OF PATIENTS ON SURGERY 4B, ENT, PLASTICS & UROLOGY. THIS KNOWLEDGE IS COMMONLY OBTAINED THROUGH PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN ACUTE SURGICAL NURSING.
