We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic supervisor to support staff in providing exceptional and memorable dining experiences for our guests, and assist management with overseeing the Front of House operations. The supervisor will maintain a positive and respectful relationship with team members, engage with guests in a professional, dignified manner, and assist management with potential service and product issues before they arise.

Essential Job Functions:

Assist service staff with providing exceptional service

Monitor and maintain safe practices

Provide training and overseeing the orientation of new employees to get them up to speed on the policies and procedures within the company

Continuously monitoring employee performance and identifying areas of improvement

Delegating tasks to ensure proper workflow

Provide the ultimate guest experience, get to know your guests and create an environment they want to experience again

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and wait stations

Create the proper ambience and atmosphere in the restaurant

Knowledgeably recommend wine and drink pairings to the food menu for guests

Go above and beyond in recognition of special occasions for the reservations

Support management with payroll, inventory, schedules, and other duties as assigned

Supervisory DutiesThis position would directly supervise Full Service Dining Servers, Bartenders, and Support staff during a shift, and report to the Full Service Dining Management Team and Director of Food and BeverageRequired Qualifications and Abilities

Serving It Right Certificate required

WSET or other professional wine training or certification is an asset

At least two years’ experience serving or bartending in an elevated restaurant environment

At least one years’ experience supervising in a high volume restaurant environment

Possess excellent customer service, organizational and communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Personable, friendly and outgoing

High energy and strong work ethic

Working Conditions

Hours of Operation are weather dependent. Due to the nature of the business, this position requires flexibility in terms of your work schedule. A variety of work schedules may include a variety of start times, including shifts on weekends and statutory holidays. Shifts require standing for long periods of time, lifting, twisting, and other forms of manual tasks.

Compensation and Benefits

$19.84-$23.20/ hour + gratuities
