Salary: 31.00 hourly / 40 hours per Week

College/CEGEP in in business, marketing or a related program
or equivalent experience

Experience
1 year to less than 2 years – Previous work experience in retail or wholesale establishments

Responsibilities
Tasks
Establish and maintain contact with suppliers
Maintain adequate stock levels
Negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms and transportation arrangements with suppliers
Review requirements of establishment and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase
Select and purchase merchandise for resale

Plan, direct and evaluate the activities of sales departments in commercial, industrial, wholesale and retail and other establishments

Supervision
Staff in various areas of responsibility
