Our Production team is looking for a fantastic person to join us as a Hot Chain Expediter. If you like the sound of us so far, keep reading to see if you have the experience and skills needed for this rewarding role!
About the Role:
The Expediter helps in the Real Food Kitchen. They are an essential part of the process of ensuring our freshly cooked food is passed to our Super Drivers as quickly as possible maintaining food safety standards. The Expediter is responsible for loading and organizing hot holding containers, making them ready to ship, bridging the processes of AM Production and Deliveries. Overall this position supports the AM Production Staff and Drivers to ensure tasks are performed efficiently and effectively and we maintain the highest possible quality, health and food safety standards.
Some of the things you’ll get paid to do:
Daily Planning
Comprehensive understanding of menu scheduling including substitute meals and additional scheduling requirements
Knowledge of client needs regarding hot holding containers (warmer vs. Cambro) and setting up deliveries accordingly
Staging delivery equipment the day before or morning of delivery
Carry out minor maintenance on cambro ovens/carriers as required
Contribute to AM team metrics and team meetings.
Assist AM Production Staff
Support AM Production Team by organizing and transporting finished product to our Super Drivers
Ensure foods are correctly labelled
Clean As You Go
Ensure a clean work station at all times
Tidy away equipment after use
Assist with waste removal
Make sure production area is clean and tidy at the end of each shift
Other
Execute the Retherm process when required
Other AM Production duties as required
About You:
Must-Haves
High school education
Strong understanding of English language (written and verbal)
Nice-to-Haves
Hard Working and Punctual
Strong attendance record
Good teamworking ability
Knowledge of food safety
Eye for detail
Some basic math skills
Ability to follow given instruction
Good personal hygiene
A can do attitude!
