One of our government clients is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Integration Specialist (Ministry of Health)
Length: Contract term is 9 months with a possibility of extension
Location: Toronto, ON

Responsibilities:
· Providing highly specialized senior technical knowledge and coordination for IT Facility projects including the development and implementation of facilities technology infrastructure at ambulance communications sites, ensuring that they meet availability requirements through proper capacity planning, planned infrastructure growth, development of processes and procedures, and life cycle management of infrastructure equipment such as power requirement for the technology meets compliance standard.
· Providing highly specialized senior technical expertise in the development of IT facilities systems and processes including assess & document current stakes, and preparing remediation plan and technology impacts for followings at ambulance dispatch sites
o Power
o HVAC
o Cabling and Patch Panel (Patching and Tracing)
o Racks and rack diagram
o Dispatch consoles/ workstations
· Developing estimates of costs and resources required; determining schedules; providing status reports; and exercising remediation control. Conducting research for products that meet specific client business needs.
· Providing highly specialized senior technical expertise in complex technology facility related analysis and design, including adherence to any safety standards.
· Creating and updating Server/Equipment room drawings include rack and technical configurations

Must haves:

• Knowledge of environmental control systems and technologies used in computer and telecommunications installations (environmental monitoring systems, air conditioning, security and fire prevention equipment and systems).
• Knowledge of mid-range and Windows based system and visualized technologies environment (peripherals, environmental requirements, operating systems and application software).
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies and AutoCAD.
• Data Centre skills
• Demonstrate experience with solution design, development, integration and implementation.
• Ability to read, interpret and analyze architectural blueprints for structural, mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Knowledge of facilities design standards, technologies and operations.
• Knowledge of IT facilities theory, related methods and techniques as well as legislated requirements.

Experience and Skill Set Requirements:
Technical Skills
· Knowledge of environmental control systems and technologies used in computer and telecommunications installations (environmental monitoring systems, air conditioning, security and fire prevention equipment and systems).
· Knowledge mid-range and Windows based system and visualized technologies environment (peripherals, environmental requirements, operating systems and application software).
· Knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies and AutoCAD.
· Demonstrate experience with solution design, development, integration and implementation.

IT Facility Skills
· Ability to read, interpret and analyze architectural blueprints for structural, mechanical and electrical drawings.
· Knowledge of facilities design standards, technologies and operations.
· Knowledge of IT facilities theory, related methods and techniques as well as legislated requirements.
· Experience to ensure work performed is within parameters of policies and directives such as building codes, health and safety guidelines and fire codes.

Communication, Change Management and Analytical Skills
· Experience on change management, communications and interpersonal skills.
· Experience providing guidance, training and technical expertise to junior staff.
· Experience preparing and present technical documents and recommendations to management staff.
· Demonstrate evaluation, problem solving, reasoning, planning and analytical skills.

Industry and Project Management Knowledge
· Experience working on projects related to 24×7 critical public safety dispatch environments and operat
