Job description: We’re looking for our next Senior Restaurant Manager at Distillery Restaurants Corp. for our beautiful Madrina Bar y Tapas!

The Distillery Restaurants Corp. is seeking experienced applicants with outstanding food & beverage management knowledge, solid business acumen, and a drive to deliver results and bring people together. What you’ll be doing:

• Lead by example and reinforce the DRC’s core values and policies on a daily basis.
• Support the GM in maintaining a culture founded in dignity, mutual respect and passion that revolves around hospitality and the delivery of genuine service and expertly crafted food and beverage;
• Achieve operational objectives by assisting in the preparation and execution of action plans, as well as implementing productivity, quality and standards of service
• Support the General Manager in executing plans for department sales, profit, and employee development
• Train, coach, develop and discipline all front of house employees through ongoing feedback and the establishment of performance expectations
• Monitor staff performance and hold staff accountable for their performance, ensuring guest’s experiences meet the highest standards
• Ensure the restaurant, bar and safe service of alcohol is in complete compliance with all local, provincial and federal regulations

What you’ll bring to the restaurant:

• EXPERIENCE. We’re looking for candidates with at least three (3) years of leadership experience, showing management progression, within the restaurant industry, preferably in fast-paced, high-volume, upscale dining environments.
• INDUSTRY-FOCUS. A business, hospitality or food and beverage management degree/diploma, or the equivalent in education and experience, is considered an asset. Membership in associations that support the F&B Industry is also an asset.
• CERTIFICATIONS. While you’re required to be Smart Serve certified, Mixology, Beer, and Sommelier certifications are highly valued.
• GENUINE CARE. Someone who naturally possesses an affinity for superior guest and employee service and takes the initiative to go above and beyond expectations.
