Summary
The Shipping Logistics Coordinator is responsible for current accountability for travel retail inbound/outbound process both systems/paperwork and physical work. The employee’s primary role will be shipping.
Hourly Rate: $22 – $23 per hour, paid weekly
Job Type: Full-time
Shift Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm + with potential to be on call for Nights or weekends.

Responsibilities
Make sure that all merchandise is processed in a timely manner and within workplace guidelines
Process and prepare paperwork for shipping/receiving (inbound and outbound). Perform detailed paperwork to be entered into the inventory system
Ensure that all safety procedures are followed
Provide excellent customer service liaison between warehouse department and customers
Wave all orders for daily production
Ensure all rush orders from customer are waved and shipped
Run outbound priority report.
Supply customer with daily operational reports and updates
Work closely with customer on shipping issues and hard stops.
Assist on special reports for location managers as well as customer
Control all diversion of shipments for customer warehouses
Analyze inventory for possible transfers
Back up to customer allocation and transportation management
Ensure the Ryder Yard Management System is up to date
Analyze fill rate and report back to customer for all outbound orders
Qualifications
Due to federal regulations:
Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or a Permanent Resident
Candidate must be able to provide government documents to prove your status such as birth certificate, Passport, Ontario driver’s license or utility bills showing current address.
Candidate must be able to pass RCMP fingerprint background check.
Candidate must have good command over the English language.
College degree/Technical Certification preferred in business, logistics supply chain, transportation or related program
H.S. diploma/GED required
One (1) year or more Shipping Coordinating or relevant experience required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
High energy and highly-motivated individual with strong customer focus
Excellent computer skills, using MS Office products, SAP experience
Must be able to use a computerized tracking system
Positive attitude, work ethic and a team player

Solid organizational and time management skills

Must be available to be on call for AOG program
