Job Summary
The Co-Op student will be responsible for generating accurate results using various chemical and instrumental techniques in accordance with established compendia and in-house testing methods under supervision. Provides support to the department by performing activities which will assist chemists in their work. Responsible for keeping an accurate inventory of all resources in the Quality Control storage areas.
Job Responsibilities
- Under supervision, performs analysis of all laboratory samples including raw material, in-process, finished products (including demonstration and launch) and stability samples using analytical instruments and established analytical procedures and techniques.
- Documents and compiles all observations and data obtained from testing as per established SOPs and good documentation practices.
- Performs calibration of laboratory equipment as required by the department’s established calibration program and GMP requirements.
- Work as an effective team member to meet departmental goals
- Performs all work in support of our Corporate Values of Pride, Accountability, Integrity and Diligence.
- Performs all work in accordance with all established regulatory and compliance and safety requirements.
- Monitor and maintain QC inventories as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Post-Secondary education in a recognized education institution in Chemistry or a related field.
- Good oral and written English communication skills.
- Knowledge of GMP/GLP
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
