This position is located in Prince George, however other locations may be considered.

Reporting to a team lead and working in a variety of settings, the Land and Resource Coordinator works in diverse teams, gathers and manages complex natural resource data, completes analysis and develops options, provides advice to statutory decision makers, facilitates and coordinates projects and engages directly with a wide variety of stakeholders to support land/resource management decisions and resolve complex stewardship issues.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
- A Technical Diploma in a natural resource management related field (e.g., Forestry, Geography, or Natural Resource Management) or
- An equivalent combination of education/training plus, two (2) or more years directly related operational experience working in a natural resource discipline.
- Advanced training in project management.
- Experience managing multiple projects or leading a component (e.g., sub-project) of a major project.
- Experience managing relationships with senior level stakeholders and leading consultation sessions.
- Valid B.C. driver’s licence.
Preference will be given to candidates with
- Specialized training in Geographic Information Systems and additional quantitative methods which may include resource economics and analysis.
- Experience in start-to -finish data analysis including identification, gathering, compilation, analysis, forecasts, and interpretation based on results.
- Experience developing, explaining, and presenting findings, reports, and summaries of results both verbally and in writing in a clear and concise style that is appropriate to the audience.
