As an Subcontractor Qualification Coordinator for our Toronto office in Oakville, Ontario you will contribute to our team by:
- Maintaining our subcontractor prequalification database
- Reviewing qualification submissions
- Meeting with subcontractors as needed to review and acquire prequalification information
- Meeting with internal teams to understand prequalification requirements
- Assisting with subcontractor outreach
- Liaising with credit associations and references
- Preparing reports on prequalification status, subcontractor utilization and other reporting as required
- Completing subcontractor default insurance reports and claims
- Monitoring subcontract values, subcontract security and risk mitigation plans
Qualifications
What you will bring to the role:
- Proven experience in credit management
- Degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
- Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Strong customer service skills
- Phenomenal teammate with effective communication
- Outstanding problem-solving abilities and professional judgment
- Ability to maintain the integrity of confidential information
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Oracle, Enterprise One software and Textura software is considered an asset
- Knowledge of the construction industry is preferred
