Job title: Territory Sales Manager – Compact Construction Equipment
Job description: Brandt is currently seeking a Territory Sales Manager – Compact Construction Equipment for our Ottawa Construction & Forestry location.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the demonstration and sale of John Deere Compact Construction Equipment, including skid steers, compact track loaders, and mini excavators, compact wheel loaders as well as Ditch Witch stand on skid steers, trailers, and other associated manufacturer’s lines.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Sales of new and used utility compact construction equipment & attachments
- Complete all sales documentation in a timely and accurate manner
- Keep current on product knowledge and equipment
- Keep current on customers’ business activities and needs
- Develop marketing and promotion strategies for territory
- Prepare customer status reports, including but not limited to sales call activity, closing, follow –up, and prospect reports as required
- Prospecting for new accounts
- Assist with customer relations
- Assist with account receivable collections
- Submit call reports weekly
- Submit lost sales reports on a timely basis

Required Experience
- Sales industry experience and/or a comprehensive knowledge of heavy equipment considered an asset
- Must be able to obtain or have a valid passport, and be able to travel internationally
- A recent driver’s abstract will be required
- Strong customer service skills
