Express Employment Professionals, Delta office, is hiring for a Warehouse & Logistics Manager for our client in the health and wellness industry out of south Burnaby, BC. Our client boast a very well-established distribution business of over 25 years. The timing is excellent to join this company as they are transforming the company in software application and improving their systems. Our client offers a dynamic, family-centric company and looking for a Logistics Manager who possess strategic thinking and provide a warm leadership approach.

Responsibilities:

• Manage warehouse facility for company and operate daily activities within the department
• Maintain appropriate staff levels, hire and train staff
• Maintain showroom inventory levels
• Optimize warehouse efficiencies and implement warehouse layout plans
• Prepares, implements, and ensures adherence to all Warehouse processes and procedures
• Identification and reporting of health and safety risks, accidents, incidents, injuries and property damage at the workplace
• Manage and lead a team of 20 employees
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, upper management, and external stakeholders.
• Utilize data analytics for informed decision-making.
• Champion the adoption of new technologies to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Any certification, Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in the following or related fields: Logistics and Supply Chain management, Operations Management.
• Proven experience in operations management, particularly in warehouse operations.
• Strong leadership skills with an emphasis on team building and people management.
• Strong with ERP systems and technological integration in business processes.
• Excellent communication skills, reflecting our transparent and authentic culture.
• Minimum of 2 years using Warehouse management system

Monday to Friday, hours tbc

Salary is $65,000-85,000/ year
