The Winery Hospitality Experience Advisor will manage the development and launch of a new winery and day to day guest experience operations for first year. Ensure the development of programs and initiatives with full alignment to brand and marketing strategies. Provide strategic advice, guidance and oversee continuous operational improvement to new winery experiences for other properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-On Project Management
- Launch of New Winery and its Guest Experience
- Partner and Collaborate with Operations and Winemaking Team
- Key Contact for Contractors and Site Management
- Budget and Timeline Management
- Information and Decision-Making Sharing with Internal Stakeholders
- Estate & Brand Marketing Coordination
- Working with brand manager to:
- ensure new winery build, guest experience and launch are on point.
- Develop and launch key estate winery programs for unique on-brand visitor experience.
- Ensure brand and marketing alignment of all programs and initiatives on selected estates.
- Day to Day Operations
- Opening & Closing of Tasting Room
- Delivery of unique and exceptional guest experiences
- Training and supervision of tasting room staff
- Tasting room Merchandising
- Supply chain Management
- Review operations and ensure alignment with estate strategies
Qualifications
Education: Diploma or Degree in Business or Hospitality related industry
Experience:
- 3-5 years in winery retail and/or hospitality.
- 10+ years in creating exceptional guest experiences in hospitality
- Strong Business Acumen
- Strong team management
- Project Management Experience
- Wine knowledge
- Developing & Implementing Standard Operating Procedures
Working Conditions
- High paced work environment with many competing demands. Many peaks to deal with in terms of the business.
- Evenings & Weekends Required
- Physically Demanding (On Feet Standing & Walking all Day; Lifting Cases of Wine)
- Dealing with Customers all Day
