About the role

The front-end developer is part of our software development team. Working alongside the product designer, quality assurance, backend-developer, development operations and the product owner, the front-end developer will build the human interfaces which connects our customers to our services and databases. The front-end developer at Lockheed Martin works in an agile environment where they will iterate over user interfaces provided by the product designer while building modular and adaptable code. The front-end developer has experience in developing user interfaces for web technologies using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React JS. They are capable of translating visual mockups to a 1:1 functioning representation within a web browser. Using semantic HTML and modern CSS technologies like flexbox, the programmed user interface is both mobile ready and accessible.
