Our client is looking to hire a yard shunter to work Monday to Friday from 02h30 to 10h30
your responsibilities
- Move 50 to 60 trailers per day in the yard with a yard truck or tractor with a fifth hydraulic wheel.
- Inspect vehicles
- Maintain yard inventory
- Be prepared to work overtime occasionally
OUR OFFER
- Starting salary of $27.76 per hour
- Group insurance and uniform provided after probationary period of 3 months
- Monday to Friday, 2:30am to 10:30am
- Regular 8 hour shifts with the possibility of overtime
- Respectful, dynamic and safe work environment
- Paid overtime after 45 hours
our requirements
- Valid class 1 license
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar position
- Leadership, sense of responsibility and a positive attitude
- Work requiring physical effort
