Job description: Do you love riding your bike and sharing that experience with others? Are you looking for a fun active job working with kids this summer? Come and join our team at WORCA and spend your summer leading youth on bikes while exploring all the amazing trails the Whistler Valley has to offer!

During the Summer months WORCA offers Youth Mountain Bike programming for ages 6 – 15 years. We are looking for physically fit, confident intermediate to advanced mountain bikers with basic knowledge of the Whistler Valley Trail network. Coaches must be 18 years or older and have their own bike that is suitable for all-mountain terrain.

Attributes we are looking for:
– Fun loving, energetic and patient
– Excellent risk management and communication skills

• Previous experience coaching or working with youth an asset
• Certified or soon to be certified PMBI Instructor
• Standard First Aid (or higher) + CPR C (holding a valid cert or enrolled to certify)
• Required to complete a satisfactory criminal record check

Information you are looking for:

• Work period: June 28 – September 3, 2021, Monday- Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm. Full-time and Part-time positions available. All hired applicants are enrolled in paid pre-season training.
• Starting wage: $20.50/hour + 4% vacation pay (wage may be negotiated for applicants with extensive experience)
