Job description: Our valued client is looking for a IT Security Operations Manager for a permanent oppotunity in Ottawa (Gatineau)!

As a member of the Corporate IT Security & Compliance Team and reporting to the Senior Director, IT Security & Compliance, the Manager, IT Security Operations is responsible for overseeing and executing the clients cyber program. Duties will be the daily management and execution of Corporate cybersecurity program across the operating business, collect and consolidate reporting to management, and ensuring successful execution of security-related activities for Corporate IT.

Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with business IT & OT Security personnel to:

• In collaboration with Manager of IT Compliance, ensure that current policies, standards and guidance’s are maintained and task with drafting of new policies, standards and guidance.
• Manage all components of our Cyber security Program across our Operating businesses with the support of his internal and external team: Frequent phishing tests, User awareness training, vulnerability scans, threat intelligence.
• Put together periodic management reporting on our key metrics and progress toward risks remediations activities.
• Provide advice, support and guidance to our operating businesses IT leaders, which includes to communicate quickly new risks, alerts.
• Manage Corporate IT security applications (Phishing tests, user awareness training, Vulnerability scans, 3rd party risk management, …)
• Support and work alongside with Corporate Risk Management

Must Have Skills:

• 7+ years of experience in IT Security
• 3+ experience Industrial Control System Security (ICS)/SCADA
• Experience working with cloud environments, Azure, AWS, GCP
• CISSP or other relevant security related designation(s)
• Working knowledge of NIST Cyber Security Framework (CSF)
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related discipline

Nice to Have

• CISM, CISA, CRISC
• Experience with development and administration of risk assessments and reviews

Specialization and Skills: Cyber Security *cert – CISSP
Operational Security (OPSEC) 2 – 4 years
Security Analyst 5 – 7 years

Priority Requirements: Experience with Industrial Control System Security (ICS)/SCADA (Must-have)
