Role:

Our client is currently seeking an experienced #400870 IT System Admin (Contract) in Etobicoke, ON for a 6-12 months contract starting in August 2021. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of System Admin (Level II/III) experience managing: Microsoft Windows Servers (2003, 2008, 2016, 2019), VMware environment (ESXi 6.5/7), Storage, Backup (Veeam & Veritas) and Active Directory. Previous Knowledge/experience of Azure Migration would be a great asset. Excellent communication skills and positive attitude.

All Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Recommended Skills:

• 8+ years of experience working as a System Administrator(Level II/III) or similar role in an enterprise IT environment (must have)
• Previous Knowledge/experience of Azure Migration would be a great asset
• Strong experience with managing Microsoft Windows Servers and Server applications (SQL/IIS)
• Experience with troubleshooting and managing VMware (ESXi 6.5/7).
• Experience in backup (Veeam/Veritas) and storage management
• Experience with other virtualization technologies including Citrix, Horizon, and VDI would be a great asset.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.

Education:

• Degree/Certificate in Information Technology would be an asset.
• Active Technical certifications would be an asset.
