Reporting to the Manager of Information Technology, the IT Support Specialist is responsible for answering employee questions and troubleshooting any related problems about technology-based products and services within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct technical support to end-users
- Monitor network security and availability
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Ensure deadlines are respected
- Quarterly training
- Installation, setup, management, and troubleshooting of:
– Microsoft 365 (Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint)
– Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc)
– Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD
– Microsoft Exchange and Exchange Online
– Microsoft Windows PCs and Servers
– Mac OS X for In-House Designers
– Microsoft-based Software
– Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
– Networking Equipment (firewalls, switches, UPS)
– Advanced Antivirus Solutions
– Cloud Backup solutions
– Firewall experience (Fortinet)
– VOIP (3CX)
– Printers
Qualifications:
- College diploma (DEC or DEP) in computer science or equivalent technical diploma
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English and French
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for technology
- Excellent organization and documentation skills
- A strong desire to help end-users
- Essential: punctual and reliable
- Essential: self-starter, able to work independently as well as within a team
