We are currently seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to fill a Senior Consultant, Cyber Security position, reporting to the Senior Program Manager, IT Strategy & Governance. This person will focus on advancing the Data Security program in IT, establishing and leveraging relationships amongst multiple teams.
Job Duties/ Accountabilities:
- Lead team responsible for advancing Data Protection, through data discovery/scanning, test data management, in line protection; identifying gaps and opportunities, reporting progress
- Ownership of the Data Security controls (Encryption, Tokenization, etc.)
- Advocate and advance Data Security and act as IT SME, for Data Protection, providing guidance for IT teams
- Track and report on various data security objectives within IT; prepare monthly progress reports to IT leadership
- Generate or update existing Business documentation
- Embrace adhoc requests, such as investigative and gap analysis, supporting IT Data Security programs & initiatives
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
- Minimum of 5 years in an IT, Information Security or Network Architecture or Delivery role
- Strong knowledge of Data Encryption theory and practical experience
- Database administration with a focus on encryption
- Excellent analytical skills, able to manage multiple requirements under strict timelines, work well in a demanding dynamic environment
- Program Management experience
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Critical thinker with the ability to identify potential areas of opportunities and be able to accurately identify and document issues
- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship skills, especially the ability to partner and build consensus among various teams
- High degree of initiative, dependability and ability to work with a diverse workforce
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Post-Secondary education in Information Technology-related field, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Skills/ Competencies:
- Professional security management certification, such as a Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or other similar credentials
- CIPP (Certified Information Privacy Professional)
- Experience with Software Development Lifecycle, including Agile processes and Secrets management

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
