ITR Laboratories Canada has been servicing the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries for over 30 years and has established itself as a trusted partner worldwide in Drug Safety Testing. We are actively seeking an IT Technician to join our team as we continue to expand our reach and services.

Main Responsibilities:

• Set up network and IT performance analysis tools accessible to the teams concerned;
• Implementation and automation of software deployments and updates from open source and commercial tools in a Windows and Linux context;
• Network planning and improvement in a multi-site context;
• Ensure the long-term viability of the company through the implementation of computer security and disaster prevention;
• Configure, deploy, troubleshoot and provide hardware support for computers, laptops, mobile devices and printers;
• Facilitate computer repairs with suppliers to ensure equipment is properly maintained and corporate standards are met.
• Perform tasks related to hardware troubleshooting, correcting corrupted files;
• Software / hardware installation and configuration;
• Provide technical support to users;
• Document any changes made to the systems;
• Other related tasks;

Requirements:

• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server & Workstation Operating System;
• Experience with Active Directory, user Management;
• Knowledge of Networking;
• Experience with Backup systems;
• Good experience with MS Office Suite including Access databases;
• SQL databases, ORACLE databases (asset);
• Knowledge of Software Validation and Software life-cycle (asset);
• Computerized Systems validation – asset;
• Familiar with Pharmaceutical Industry regulation (GLP, FDA) – asset;
• Team work;
