Your strong technology experience will help drive the evolution of our services and contribute to the recruitment of new talent to our team. You’ll help us create and maintain a network of clients and be identified as a trusted advisor. With us, you will be involved in advancing the business by helping clients identify their needs, writing of proposals or contributing to responses.

As a manager, you will be delivering client mandates and providing end-to-end advisory and design services while leveraging industry best practices. You will contribute to the satisfaction of our clients and lead a diverse team of talented professionals while contributing to their development and supporting them to reach their full potential.

About the team

The Technology Strategy and Transformation (TS&T) practice works closely with CxOs at the intersection of business and technology to articulate and solve key business problems, leveraging technology. The focus is to maximize business value from IT investments, drive organizational performance, and help our clients become more agile and productive.

The ITBM team within TS&T focusses on identifying and implementing business-aligned opportunities to improve IT cost effectiveness, ensuring technology investments provide the most value to the business.

Our team brings an independent and technology agnostic perspective across all aspects of the technology mandate and the business-technology lifecycle, ensuring alignment and readiness to serve the overall business vision. Our people include cross-industry professionals, ex-CIOs, and tech experts supported by powerful assets and robust frameworks.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are someone who is:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in management and/or technology strategy consulting, with wide-ranging technology experience, or a minimum of 10 years non-consulting experience.
  • Strong executive communication, workshop facilitation, problem-solving/probing skills with the ability to build relationships, lead teams, and actively collaborate with experts
  • Detail oriented, with the ability to quickly grasp and understand the “big picture”
  • Adept at managing technology strategy projects and scope, ensuring overall team deliverable quality, such as: project problem diagnosis, solution development, client communications, documentation, managing client and project team leadership expectations
  • Able to conceive and communicate new ideas and conceptualize innovative approaches and solutions
  • Able to develop, grow and nurture long term relationships at a senior level clients to drive business/sales
  • Experience in driving client proposals and RFP responses in Technology Strategy
  • Knowledgeable of market trends, a variety of technologies, competitor environment, and corporate and business strategies
  • Strong background in IT Financial Modelling and Cost Allocations
  • Strong quantitative aptitude (e.g. business-casing, TCO models)
  • A professional designation (e.g. PMP, CM, etc.) or IT certifications are an asset (e.g. ITIL, CobIT, TOGAF, etc.).

Canadian travel required with occasional international travel. You should be able to enter the USA to work on client assignments. Candidates interested in working in Ottawa must be able to qualify for federal government security clearance
