Location: Vancouver Start date: As soon as possible Key Responsibilities: Set up and maintenance of the IT infrastructure encompassing telecommunication systems and networks, internet connectivity links and networks, computers/hardware, software systems, applications, and databases Identify IT requirements such as desktops, laptops, projectors, cell phones and hand-held communication devices, computer peripherals, and networking equipment Authorize the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, and support of all hardware and software based on department needs Evaluate the overall effectiveness of network operations and existing technologies Provide expertise and training to internal stakeholders on all IT issues; supervise and mentor IT team members Oversee contractors, basic installation, video-based systems, and network Coordinate the IT infrastructure to ensure alignment with strategic and business priorities Develop and maintain a collaborative working relationship with users, vendors, and other related groups Accountable for the delivery of all IT services and assets throughout all branches and client sites of Securiguard Responsible for network administration including network design, integrity, security, disaster recovery, and federation service management Responsible for hardware and software systems, application servers, internet, backup and recovery systems, router, Firewalls, LAN, VLAN/WAN management, and phone systems Set corporate standards and develop policies related to computer and network security. Ensure the use of and access to data, and electronic communications to meet all Securiguard’s requirements Assess and proactively manage risk related to IT and records at Securiguard Required qualifications: Experience working with stakeholders to communicate issues while balancing business expectations Leadership experience in a 24×7 operation supporting physical IT infrastructure (computer, network, storage, etc.).
