Job description: Your Opportunity:
If you are interested in working independently in a fast-paced environment providing support to the network Home Care team, this position may be of interest. As the successful candidate, you will receive direction and supervision from the Clerical/Office Coordinator and will work with a diverse team of professionals. Your duties will include: Client data entry, record management, and related documentation in the electronic health records. Calendar management/scheduling of daily work for professional staff. Payroll/staffing functions include working with the centralized staffing office and managers to ensure the accuracy of payroll. Reception includes incoming calls for all staff in a large (200+ staff) home care office. These calls need to be appropriately redirected with follow-up as required. Managing equipment and supplies as required.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Additional Required Qualifications:
Formal office training and recent related experience are required. Applicant must have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint software programs. Must be proficient in English (written and oral). Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively set priorities. Strong customer service skills are required. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to interact effectively and positively with a diverse group of people and work as a team member. Physical demands of the job include: Sitting for extended periods. Lifting office/medical supplies and equipment weighing up to 30 lbs. Using repetitive motions. Lifting, bending, reaching and standing for prolonged periods. Preferred Qualifications:
1 – 2 years of previous Home Care and Meditech experience preferred.
