We are currently looking for an IT Infrastructure and Operations Director in a 100% remote environment for one of our clients in the construction industry. (Obligation to live in Quebec)

Job description:

• Lead and motivate a high performing team responsible for support, operations and

the evolution of IT infrastructure and services.

• Maintain and upgrade IT, office automation and telephone infrastructures
• Ensure the delivery of quality technological solutions.
• Implement information technology management policies and processes
• Define an action plan for the evolution of technologies according to needs
• Participate in the establishment of operating and capital budgets, analyze the results

and ensure compliance with the budget.

• Ensure a technological watch and recommend and implement innovative solutions
• Develop and implement a computer systems security policy.
• Act as a technical expert, as much at the infrastructure, operational level as at the

delivery;

• Negotiate and manage agreements with IT partners and ensure the maintenance of

close working relationship with them.

• Participate in the development of the team’s annual objectives and identify training needs.
• Present the status of operational services and establish performance metrics allowing

report on the quality of the IT service

Profile description:

• Diploma in computer science or equivalent;
• 7-8 years of experience in information technology management.
• Experience in project management.
• Excellent communication skills, analytical and synthetic skills.
• Motivated, persevering and proactive person;
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability and willingness to work under pressure in a constantly changing environment.
• Ability to coach and engage the team.
• French / English bilingualism
• Knowledge and experience with the Agile methodology, an asset.

*Knowledge of ITSM/ITIL principles or similar frameworks, an asset
