A Day in the Life

As the HR & Administrative Coordinator with Quality Green, you will be responsible for all things HR. You will focus on delivering a variety of HR services that exceed the needs of the Managers, Supervisors and Team members and contribute to Quality Green’s overall business success. Your duties will include:

HR (45%):

Assisting with our full-cycle recruitment process and ensuring we source the best talent to fit our company culture and the role at hand.

Being our go-to person for all things HR and ensuring needs are met across the organization.

Engaging our team and learning what works for them through asking for and collecting feedback.

Managing all HR files and overseeing the inbound and outbound communications of our HR inbox.

Providing support with different aspects of our payroll process (generating records of employment, time and attendance tracking, etc.)

Assist in the creation of a strategy plan to improve Quality Green’s growth and retention over time.

Leading our team’s onboarding and offboarding processes.

Organizing and maintaining personnel records.

Updating and maintaining our internal databases as necessary (e.g., record sick or maternity leave).

Prepare HR documents, such as employment agreements and new hire guides.

Maintain and revise company policies to ensure compliance with federal, provincial and local laws and Quality Green’s overall goals and philosophy.

Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics.

Answer employees’ queries about HR-related issues.

Organize and participate in HR projects, such as job fair events.

Administration (45%):

Managing Quality Green’s Google Drive.

Supporting various departments, such as the Sales Team to complete product calls and coordinate sales calendars.

Supporting with special projects and ad hoc duties.

Assistant Duties (10%):

Supporting the CEO with calendar management.

Supporting the CEO with scheduling, coordination and meeting logistics, and providing best in class administrative support.

Taking clear and concise meeting minutes.

What You Bring to the Table:

2+ years of experience in Human Resources and Administration.

Payroll and bookkeeping experience considered an asset (not required).

Systems savvy with the ability to navigate systems and learn quickly. Exposure or familiarly with ADDP and HRIS systems.

Possess a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a team player.

Detail-oriented and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy; ability to collect, review and organize personnel-related data.

Technically versed in Google Suites, and MS Office with an emphasis on Outlook, Excel, Team etc.

Time management abilities and flexible schedule to manage competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Exceptional written, verbal and visual communication skills.

An innovative and reliable contributor that has no problem rolling up their sleeves to get the job done.
