Job description: Your Opportunity:
The Administrative Support III (Booking Clerk) is a working level, multi-skilled position that will support the North Zone Waitlist Clean-up project and various booking clerk procedures as required. Working under minimal guidance and direction, the Administrative Support III utilizes enhanced skills to perform varied and/or specialized activities such as booking across multiple sites, for multiple physicians and collection and inputting of data. Additionally, the Administrative Support III will be required to solve a range of problems with discretion to vary from established procedures. The incumbent will be required to work with proficient skills and experience gained through education and significant on the job training.
Description:
As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Additional Required Qualifications:
Some post-secondary education preferred (e.g. course(s) in office or business administration, medical office assistant) .Good knowledge base with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to prioritize workload in the face of multiple demands. Understands the importance and practices of confidentiality. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Ability to promote a positive attitude and be respectful of others. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using the Meditech program desired, the Community Wide Scheduling module preferred. Good typing skills (40 wpm preferred). Previous experience in a healthcare setting would be an asset.
