Job description: Your Opportunity:
As the successful candidate, you will work with a diverse team of health care professionals in a busy and continually changing environment providing Administrative Support. Some of the many responsibilities of this fast-paced role include booking appointments, Knowledge of basic office equipment, including fax, photocopier, personal computer, and multi-line telephones. Answers incoming calls for patient product orders. Utilizes messaging system to disseminate information as well as update and maintain MyCBDR system for patient treatment records. Consistently follows Alberta Health Services Information Privacy and Information Security policies. Employs effective communication skills, promoting and adhering to excellent customer service in every interaction regardless of who it is with. Working within outside health facilities in multiple formats – paper, electronic, and telephone. To ensure timely and accurate processing of requests, tasks may include but are not limited to, processing requests for Product information, answering incoming calls, mail intake, validating patient identification, logging requests, retrieval and filing of records, copying, faxing, scanning and mailing of health information. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to make sound decisions using reasoning and judgement.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Additional Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years experience in similar setting. Completion of Unit Clerk certificate or Medical Office Assistant program Proficiency with general computer programs (Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel). Experience with the Connect Care Strong multi-tasking ability. Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced, time-sensitive organization. A medium level of physical activity is required to fulfill job requirements including but not limited to reaching above shoulders frequently, looking up frequently, prolonged periods of telephone and keyboard computer work. Must be able to lift and hold 20 lbs. sufficient mobility to: climb, bend, stoop, and move around rapidly throughout the shift. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support-Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in an ambulatory clinic setting preferred.
