We are looking for a Maintenance Administrative Assistant in Hamilton. In this role, you will be responsible to perform administrative duties for the purpose of assisting the Manager in the efficient operation of the Maintenance department. The ideal candidate will with great communication skill, strong work ethic, be professional and have the ability to multitask and work well under pressure. Knowledge of purchasing, procurement and storeroom functions would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities
– Preparation of billings, processing payments and posting deposits, contacting customers regarding delinquent accounts, accept and record monies received for slip/transient dock rentals and /or boat storage rental, and issuing receipts.
– Review gas dock remittances for accuracy and completion; address discrepancies; provide approval
– Proactively and collaboratively work with the Marina Manager in all aspects of the Marina operation; maintain a professional Marina operation; ensure customer concerns are addressed and resolved with a sense of urgency
– Other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
– 2 to 4 + years’ as an administrative assistance with exposure to data entry and customer service
– Reliable, punctual and great communication skills are a must have
– Great attention to detail and the ability to work within a fast paced environment is required
– Exposure to purchasing or experience working in a manufacturing environment would be ideal
– Positive attitude, outgoing, self-motivated, confident and reliable
– Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
– Experience with Maintenance Mgmt. systems (i.e. TAG, Navision) considered an asset
– Knowledge of purchasing, procurement and storeroom functions considered an asset
