Job description: Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia is currently searching for an Administrative Assistant, Compliance Program to join our team in Burnaby!
The Administrative Assistant, Compliance Program is responsible for providing support to the Audit and Practice Review Programs for registrants. Responsibilities include tracking progress for audit and practice review files, corresponding with assessors and registrants being audited, review and filing of program documents, tracking program metrics and preparing reports, responding to and triaging incoming inquiries related to the programs, and other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Update and monitor progress on audit and practice review files. Liaise with assessors, program coordinator, and registrants about upcoming and past-due tasks.
- Review and file documents and correspondence related to the audit and practice review programs.
- Track metrics related to the audit and practice review programs and assist in preparing monthly and annual reports about program metrics.
- Keep program websites up to date by adding information and resources as they are developed.
- Keep program administrative manuals up to date with latest resources and standard operating procedures.
- Assist registrants with inquiries about the audit and practice review programs; respond to questions by phone and email.
- Help develop and maintain tools, resources, and standard operating procedures for audit and practice review programs.
- Assist with and provide feedback on tasks and strategy for audit and practice review programs with manager, program coordinator, and assessors.
- Provide occasional coverage for reception during vacations and breaks: answer phone calls and accept couriers.
- Additional tasks to support the Professional Practice, Standards, and Development Department, as required.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
The successful applicant will possess the following:
- A diploma or higher level of education in administration or a related field is required
- 5-7 years of administrative experience in an office environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Computer and word processing skills
- Strong problem-solving skills, customer service skills, and exceptional organization skills
- Knowledge of how to manage multiple competing priorities and adapt quickly
