Job description: IT Business Analyst – Sales, Marketing & Customer Experience
In order to support this growth, we are looking for an IT business analyst. Reporting to the Director – Business Applications, the successful candidate will perform the following duties, among others:
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Understand the strategic business directions of the function;
- Provide expertise in the use, implementation and configuration of applications involved in OTC (Order-to-Cash) processes (particularly SAP SD);
- Provide expertise in the use, implementation and configuration of various business applications used in sales support such as CRM, e-commerce platforms, mobile applications and others;
- Excelling in teamwork involving internal players and external solution or service providers;
- Analyze new projects and evolution requests from internal customers and develop recommendations.
- Participate in the definition, optimization and documentation of business processes;
- Define and ensure that security criteria are defined and implemented to protect data and the organization’s perimeter;
- Understand, influence and document business requirements based on best practices;
- Ensure the optimization and integration of processes and solutions with other teams and functions;
- Assist in the planning of test scenarios, the execution of tests, and the coordination of UAT user tests;
- Support users in resolving incidents when they occur;
- Develop and maintain functional and training documentation and communication to users;
- Evaluate system support issues and make required corrections;
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Marketing or other relevant degree or experience;
- SAP certification and experience in EDI exchange environments are assets;
- Solid experience in SAP SD implementation and configurations, and OTC (Order-to-Cash) processes involving B2B, B2C customers;
- Experience with integrations of external cloud solutions and on-premise applications supporting sales processes is an asset;
- Good knowledge of the business processes of the Marketing, Sales and Marketing departments, such as product launches, new store acquisitions, banner management, price and discount management, returns, sales and marketing programs, etc.
- Knowledge of modern IT project approaches and technology development and integration (agile and waterfall experiences an asset);
- Fluency in French and English, written and spoken;
- Curiosity and excellent analytical mind that leads to a good understanding of needs, leading to influence strategic choices of solutions that can meet them;
- Must be able to meet the needs of internal customers while keeping in mind the experience of end customers;
- Maintaining high quality standards and creativity in problem solving;
- Experience in logistics, wholesale distribution and/or automotive industry is an asset;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
