Job description: On behalf of our client in Burnaby, Ignite Technical Resources is looking for IT Business Analyst with our client for a Contract opportunity.
Summary of Role:
Our client is looking for an IT Business Analyst to provide support for our cashflow forecasting project. We are looking for someone to augment the team to get us through to go-live and help support the solution. This analyst will be supporting the completion of remaining configurations, UAT and go-live activities, and data management activities.
Responsibilities:
- Gather & analyze requirements from business
- Work with the developers to design and implement solutions
- Assist with change management and training activities
- Support and coordinate with data management activities
- Support end users upon system go-live
- Document functional specifications for the solution
- Support QA activities and facilitate UAT
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a business analyst developing business and functional requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience participating in user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Demonstrated superior analytical, problem solving and judgement skills
- Ability to learn and quickly comprehend technical and business concepts
- Ability to work well under pressure and able to manage simultaneous priorities, pressures, and deadlines
Preference will be given to candidates with the following:
- Experience working with Jedox
- Experience working with financial systems like JD Edwards
- Experience working for public agencies and/or social service organizations
