Are you looking for full time Temp to Perm position?

We are seeking General Laborers for one of our clients in Mississauga. This is an entry level paper mill laborer position.

What’s in for you?

• Pay $19 per her plus 4% Vacation pay

• Continental Shifts (Schedule will be provided 1 week before – Weekends included)

• 12 hours shifts, Rotational (6:00am to 6:00pm & 6:00pm to 6:00am)

• Temp to Perm opportunity

• Referral bonus (Refer 10 and get $1000 Bonus)

What is the job?

• General housekeeping of mill (washing up with water hoses, sweeping, shoveling pulp (rare), emptying garbage’s)

• Cleaning up paper breaks w. broke clamp truck (lift truck w. scoop mechanism)

• Assisting in dry end of paper machine (moving reels with semi-gantry crane, processing finished rolls, utilizing 5-ton crane to transport roulettes)

• Assisting in shipping department strapping and labelling rolls as needed

• Assisting in stock preparation department (testing pulp, equipment checks, removing raggers w. lift truck)

• Maintaining 5S of mill (tool boards full in basement & operating floor)

• Train as back-up in stock prep department, raw materials warehouse and 5th hand

What you bring to the job?

• Computer literacy

• Ability to lift 30lbs (lifting is not often required)

• Ability to work in a hot environment

• Ability to work in a noisy environment

• Ability to work in a wet environment

• Very basic mechanical aptitude
