Role:

Our Client is currently seeking an experienced 900510 IT Network Administrator – Meraki (Contract) (Remote work) for a 3 months contract starting in Sep 2021 with a potential of extension at the client’s discretion. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years as a Network Admin providing L2/L3 support/maintenance with Network Infrastructures (Meraki and Cisco), Network Connectivity, and Firewalls in an Enterprise IT environment. Previous experience with Merika network migration would be a great asset. Excellent communication skills and positive attitude.

Technical Skills (Nice to Have):

• 7+ years of experience as a Network Administrator or equivalent in an enterprise IT environment
• Experience with L2/L3 systems maintenance, troubleshooting and support.
• Experience with Merika network migration would be a great asset
• Experience in Network administration, connectivity, Firewalls, switching and routing, TCP/IP protocols, Internet services (DNS, FTP, etc.)
• Experience with support and administration of VMWARE (V 6.5 & 6.7)
• Experience with Meraki, Cisco, Firepower, and Checkpoint firewalls.
• Experience with AWS and GCP cloud technologies.
• Have excellent analytical skills and be a good communicator.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.

Education (nice to have):

• Degree or Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science would be an asset
• Active Technical Certifications would be an asset (Cisco CCNA or CCNP, Checkpoint, F5)
