Join the momentum at MNP. We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our growing Administration team. MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Strategically supporting the firm, our Administration team anticipates the needs of our team members and Partners. We effectively communicate information for service lines, industry and specialty groups, and operations at all levels throughout the firm. Our administrators support initiatives and ensure efficiency, allowing MNP to better serve our clients and people.
YOUR ROLE @ MNP
Performance Expectations
- Perform a variety of Finance and Marketing administrative support activities ensuring timely adherence and deadlines
- Assist with the accounts receivable (A/R) and accounts payable (A/P) responsibilities for the region
- Receive and respond to client calls and emails relating to A/R inqueries
- Reconciliation of corporate credit cards and expense claim review
- Collaborate with management to assist with WIP, A/R, reporting requirements as needed
- Manage/coordinate event ticket distribution for corporate suites and events
- Assist with implementation of the various corporate and client events (trade shows, local promotions, sponsorships, advertising, online & offline communications, signage, brochures, social media posts, etc.)
- Manage event logistics such as invites, RSVPs and catering requirements
- Submit Marketing requests into Workfront (advertisements, e-vites, website profiles, etc.)
- Manage the MPM Marketing tags and reporting functions
- Coordinate digital holiday card distribution
- Manage Marketing collateral and inventory as well as, process and coordinate promotional product orders as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Credentials
- Three (3) to five (5) years of related administrative and finance experience
- Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance would be considered an asset
- Experience with reporting systems and initiatives
- Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience in a professional services firm is an asset
