Administrative Assistant
Our regulatory body client in the healthcare sector is looking for an Administrative Assistant to support their investigations team for a temporary – permanent opportunity, located in downtown Toronto. In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for their team and respond to internal and external inquiries over the phone and via email;
- Act as an administrative resource to staff by providing guidance and support related to administrative practices and applications such as MS Office;
- Create, maintain and amend documents, retrieve and review incoming mail and arrange for courier services;
- Review reimbursement claims, invoices and other finance-related forms for accuracy, track expenditures and monitor and maintain inventory/supplies;
- Maintain flow of information and liaison with internal and external stakeholders to request information, distribute materials, correspondence, etc.
- Update and maintain databases and other records, generate reports from databases and compile data.
Qualifications
- You have 3+ years of administrative experience in a similar environment;
- You have advanced proficiency in MS Office and have strong technical skills and proficiency using collaborative technologies such as SharePoint;
- You have excellent organizational skills and a strong ability to prioritize tasks to meet strict deadlines with an efficient attention to accuracy and detail;
- You have stellar communication skills, interpersonal skills and relationship management skills and are able to work effectively autonomously and as a member of a team.
