Job description: Our client in Pointe Claire is currently looking for an Administrative Assistant for the Finance team. The company is one of the leaders in their industry and is constantly growing and looking to add a new member to the team. This person will be responsible for daily administrative tasks. The role is mostly done remotely

Advantages

Responsibilities
Support managers in administrative support and in the development and implementation of administrative and other procedures;
Prepare correspondence as well as formatting Word, Excel and Powerpoint documents and able to translate basic documents, if necessary;
Follow-up on accounts payable and receivable;
Account for employee hours (including vacation and sick time) and follow up with the payroll department;
Maintain employee vacation records and banked leave summaries;
Support in the preparation of events and promotional products;
Periodic replacement at the reception desk, taking calls, and greeting visitors;
Prepare bank reconciliation, prepare and make bank deposits;
Collect, distribute and forward mail (electronic and paper);
Maintain and order office supplies;
Follow up on the management of training files and corporate vehicles.

Qualifications
Education: Office technical or related training

Work Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience or more

Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)

Strong attention to detail

Ability to prioritize work flow

Excellent interpersonal skills

Bilingual – MANDATORY – advanced written and verbal communication in French and English

Ability to show initiative and proactive attitude

Maintain high standards of confidentiality
