If you are a talented and experienced Administrative Assistant, Aplin has partnered with a Halifax-based company to recruit an Administrative Assistant to support their HR team for a 3-month contract (strong potential for extension) with an immediate start!
This is an in-office position located near Halifax airport.
Responsibilities:
- Provide key Administrative support for the HR department (setting up interviews, posting jobs, filtering resumes, etc.)
- Act as a point of contact for HR inquiries
- Maintenance of electronic filing systems and digitized records
- Assist with invoicing data entry
- Maintenance of recruitment spreadsheets
- Receiving, distributing, and sending mail packages
- Other general administrative support as needed
Qualifications:
- A diploma or Degree in HR would be an asset
- Minimum 1-2 years of Administrative experience
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Must be a self-starting individual
- Must have strong communication skills
- Experience with JD Edwards and/or Taleo would be an asset
- Intermediate to Advanced user of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
