Job title: Administrative Assistant, Human Resources

Job description: Kelly is hiring! We are currently recruiting a permanent full-time Administrative Assistant for the Human Resources department for our client located in Strathroy.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the job posting process – tracking the process flow, maintenance of employment resumes and applications
  • Schedule interviews, create and coordinate distribution of follow-up letters, conduct telephone interviews and references etc
  • Administer Peoplesoft database; ensure it is kept current
  • Assist with administrative duties and/or coordination/scheduling of events
  • Update Communication boards
  • Maintain employee personnel files and HR electronic files
  • Update Employee Attendance Trackers

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of administrative experience
  • Minimum High school diploma or GED with Post-Secondary education with a Diploma/Degree in Human Resources is preferred
  • Highly motivated with the ability to pro-actively provide support
  • Able to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong computer skills – MS Office
  • Must be able to interact effectively with other team members
  • Able to manage and schedule multiple priorities and meet deadlines
