Job Details
Position Title: Administrative Assistant
Status: Part Time Administrative Contract
Hours: 24 hours a week
Faculty/Department: Office of the Senior Vice-President, Academic
Campus/Location: North Campus – hybrid
Salary: TBD
What you will do:
Under the direction of the Executive Assistant to the Senior Vice-President, Academic, the Administrative Assistant provides high profile, professional and confidential support to the Institution’s Office of the SVPA.
The Administrative Assistant will liaise with all levels of College staff, students, Governors, partners and the public and will undertake special projects and assignments on behalf of the Office of the SVPA as directed.
The Administrative Assistant will perform a wide variety of administrative support tasks using his/her well-developed organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, all of which contribute to the efficient and professional operation of the executive offices. Responsibilities include:
onboarding/off-boarding departmental new hires, managing calendars for the Senior Vice-President, Academic and Associate Vice-President, Academic and broader Executive calendars (ad hoc), Academic Committee Support, collaboration with the Senior Academic Leadership team,
expense management, processing business-related travel requests, Program Advisory Committee membership letters, minute taking and assisting with student concerns and enquiries from the Humber community.
Qualifications

Education
- Post-secondary diploma in fields of Office/Business Administration, Human Resources or similar;
Expereince
- Minimum 3 years of experience supporting a senior level leader/executive
- Minimum 5 years specifically related experience in an educational facility, preferred
