Job description: Your Opportunity:

Reporting to the Manager of Interprofessional Practice and Education, the Administrative Support III provides a wide range of clerical support to the Rural Education Department. This includes printing and copying education handouts, scheduling and managing courses in My Learning Link, maintaining department databases, entering payroll in ESP, coding invoices for department, communicating with staff, physicians and instructors, ordering supplies and equipment, arranging for transportation of course material and equipment, trouble shooting and problem solving course issues, coordinating and maintaining department equipment and other clerical duties as required.

As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Additional Required Qualifications:

Proficient with and have strong skills and knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, a practical test will be administered. Team player with excellent organizational and time management skills. Must be self-directed have the ability to prioritize and work independently under limited supervision and seek direction when needed. Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with other team members both face to face and in a virtual work environment. Previous experience and employment references will demonstrate an excellent attendance record, reliability and suitability to the position. Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to applicants with Medical Office Assistant course or equivalent experience satisfactory to the employer. Previous clerical experience in an office environment for at least 5 years. Proficient in setting up and maintaining excel databases. Proficient with ESP including entering payroll and pulling reports. Proficiency in Markview and “My Learning Link” an asset.
