Required Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Additional Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years experience in medical reception field or similar. Proficient with MS Office including Outlook, Calendar, Excel and Word. Minimum 2 years experience with AHS time coding, time entry and RMS. Ability to use basic office equipment including fax machine, photocopier and multiple line telephone. Knowledge of MediTech program and manual staff scheduling. Professional and courteous telephone manner. Must be able to lift up to 30lbs. Must be comfortable with sitting for up to two hours at a time. Must be able to perform repetitive motions on keyboard for up to two hours at time. Must have excellent communication skills including strong English language skills (testing may be part of the recruitment process). Must possess strong problem solving skills, be self motivated and be able to work with minimal supervision. Must be committed to communicating clearly and respectfully to clients and families. Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to pay close attention to detail and manage workload with multiple interruptions. Knowledge of e-people timekeeping an asset.
